My comic got printed on its backing board 0

Haven't taken the comic out in more than 20 years and was kept in a hot and humid storage. I doubt these were acid free backing boards and bags

This is common with cheap backing boards used for a long period of time.

Nice. Brings back memories of going through my childhood collection that somebody shoved to the back of the attic to sit for 15-20 years.

I dont think there was any damage or ink transfer-for example the black areas on comic are white areas on backing board-which means contact with black ink delayed board tanning and the other inks delayed tanning to different degrees resulting in an image being formed.
