The term is meaningless without some context.

I usually notate when I'm selling my original newsstand purchases, as the pages are extra whitey-white, due to superior storage conditions.

That's racist.

Yes, yes it is.

I prefer my pages white, just like I prefer my......,

It's likely that what the seller means to say is...

I have owned lots of books and I have sold my undercopies and lesser grades, putting the best copies back for myself (my personal collection). What I am selling here is one of those books that made it through all those cuts and so it's better than what I normally sell.

Then you look at all their other listings "from my personal collection-"

Then you go back and see what they have been selling over the years-"from my personal collection"

GOOD COMICS BOOKS

Like "Baby On Board"?

Very cruel and uncomfortable. At least buy the kid a baby seat.

I see the term used "From own personal collection" sometimes on ebay when slabbed comics are listed. Does anyone care if it's a 9.6 from a personal collection or a 9.6 they purchased from someone else?

I have to say that I never gave this much thought until recently when old Barry Bum-Smell Hands put his collection up on ebay
