Tales of Suspense #39 CGC SS 2.5 and Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC SS 2.5 1 1

Hey Boardies,

Just trying to get a feel for what the current prices are on these books.  Not many recent prices on GPAnalysis for these two books, so trying to figure out what they would sell for if I decided to put them up on the boards.

Also trying to decide if it would be worth getting these two books pressed.

Books are:

Tales of Suspense #39 CGC SS 2.5 - signed by Gene Colan and Stan Lee

Amazing Fantasy #15 CGC SS 2.5 - Signed by Stan Lee

The centering on the Suspense isn’t bad, either; both quotes!

You’re right! I was looking for blue under the table, but both quotes is definitely more desirable.

The AF has a tastefully written/placed Stan signature as well, I’ve seen so many bad ones at point.

Any recommendations if I were to list these on the boards price wise?

NICE BOOKS!!!  

Personally I would not touch either one, they are both "Well Loved" books and IMO are Great just as they are.

Some people do not like or want the signatures so there is no way of telling if the signature adds value to the book.

After checking past eBay Auction Sales, Two CGC AF 15's by the same seller sold at auction for...

CGC 4.5 Blue Label $32,229.00 on 6/23

CGC 4.0 SS $26,422.00 on 5/19

It appears the signature did not really add any value, there were two CGC FR/GD 1.5 Blue Label that sold for $10,000.00 and $12,000.00 respectively so I assume you would be somewhere in between.

As far as the TOS 39...

A CGC 2.5 Blue Label sold for $3000.00 on 7/10

A CGC 2.0 SS sold for $3500.00 on 6/2 but only TWO bids, in this case it appears the signature did add value...

Where did you get the CGC 2.5 TOS39 sale at $3,000?  The last GPA recorded sale was at $3,412 in February 2019 the last 2.0 sale in July was at $2,995 ...... just wondering if GPA missed a sale.

Both books present very well and have fairly good signature placement - especially the AF15!  Iw oudl think the Stan Sig on an AF15 would add more value than on the TOS39 - but it is a bit subjective.

Uhhh, you said this was a blue label in your earlier post. Upon clicking the link, it appears to be a restored book. Very clearly purple label.

You will have to forgive me, it was not intentional, I am old, cannot see well and I am partially color blind, blue, purple they all look the same to me, I go through the color thing every weekend with my Granddaughter.
