Wild Boy 11 is SOLD!
Battle  Report 5  is  SOLD!

Thanks,  Shrevvy!

Sorry,   I  don't  have  any  information  on  how  to  read  the  code.   I've had  maybe  ten  or twelve POP  books  over  the years,.   a bottom  feeder
like  me   runs into  them  occasionally,  and unless you  know  what  you're  looking  for  they  just look like  another  taped up mess.

Here's  an odd  duck.

The Birds Eye  Puzzle  Fun  Book

1961 giveaway,  and  note  the  name  in the Birds Eye  logo.  Not FROZEN  foods,  but  FROSTED  foods.   Dated  1961,  it's
you  average    fun little  giveaway,  with puzzles,  and   games,  and  cartoons,  and  comics,   and   would  usually  be  interesting
to   giveaway  collectors,   and  folks who  like  esoterica.

Here's  the  odd bit.  Inside  the  back  cover,  below  the  crossword,  reads  the following:

PRODUCED BY  TIMELY  ILLUSTRATED  FEATURES

I believe  this  must  be the  last Timely  book  ever  published.   If I had to guess,  I'd say  that Martin  Goodman   used  the  name  one last time  to
preserve  his  copyright  or trademark.

Like I said,  an odd  duck.

Lower  spine  is split  to staple,   upper  spine is  split  about  halfway  to  staple,   chips out here and there, general wear,   and  the   crossword
inside the BC  is  filled in with pencil.  16 pages,   tight on the  staples,   offwhite  pages.

Not  listed in Overstreet.

Asking  $25  on the  strength  of  the  Timely   announcement.

Ozark  Ike 16

If you're  not  familiar  with  ol'  Ike,   think   L'il  Abner  meets   Joe Palooka,   then  toss in  some more  sports   and some  leggy babes.

Two pieces out FC  along  spine,   and  below one  of them  there are  bits out of the first  few  pages to boot.   Nothing  that
touches any  art.  Cover  loose,  interior  is tight  with  white  pages,     A  fun  read,   provided you  like  leggy  babes and hillbillies,

$10 takes it.  SOLD!

Archie  Annual  4

This  one  sold  in  a  previous thread,   but  I  had  a nonpayer  buyer,  so here we go  again!

Flat  and  tight,  but   a  few  small  pieces out  of the spine strip,  and  I  suspect  a  bit  of  glue  repair  along  the  spine.  Small  corner off
lower  RH  FC,  bit of  general  wear.  Small tear  lower  edge FC,   matching  diminishing   tears  lower  edge  on  several   pages into the  interior.
Tight with  white pages,

Asking  $50  SOLD!
