When I started collecting in 1960 I got on my (half-) brother's (30 years older than me) case because he bought Galaxy and Astounding every month but didn't keep them. So we made a deal that I'd haunt the used bookstores in San Diego for back issues at 5 cents each, and then he had each year bound as we completed them. I inherited Galaxy 1950-59 & Astounding 1947-59.

These covers are incredible! Look at the work Finlay did on his hands and her eyes.

They're more than priceless then.I love collecting stories,thanks for sharing.I'd love to see pics one day,if I may.
