There were SOOOO many comics back then.  I mean, there were millions of them.   And DREK as a word had not been applied to comic books yet

And that's about it for this issue.  I've shown a little over half the ads.  There are so many more.

More books.  More books. More books. I only showed the well presented ads.

There are other more kinda crappy unreadable ads that remind me of white box diving under the tables at a con for dollar books.

If you had the time and were willing to decipher some peoples writing and/or typing skills, you might find a gem or two in the mix.

Anyways, I hope you've been almost entertained.

Until I land another copy of this old rag...…   :hi:

Time for some comic book ads, and speaking of EC's here is an ad from Alan Levine.

I bet he was at that EC Convention

Some of his grading assessments look a bit off in places, such as Fine, but completely detached cover on the Aces High 5.

And apparently the Alan Levine method as well

Perhaps the belief that 'tape, if carefully applied, is not considered a defect', was quite commonplace, and not just restricted to more well-known comic dealers such as Rogofsky, who's been the historical focus for ridicule over that.
