It's by a guy named John G. Fantucchio who has a pretty nice body of work.

Sadly he passed in 2016, but there is lots of info on him here:   John G. Fantucchio

Good luck deciphering his signature

There are 21 sections of ads like these two below from Howard Rogofsky  !!  That's a lot of advertising.

I never met the man but remember seeing his name and ads often in Marvel comics.

@Sqeggs  started a lively thread back in 2016 in the GA forum about Howard .

You can read it :  HERE

Howard has been around a long time.

A couple more sections (out of 21) from Howard.

Going deep into the nerdom here.  I bet there is some info in this publication that is not available anywhere else on earth.

"A transcript of Forrest J. Ackermans talk at D'Con '71 of his friendship with Ray Harryhausen"

Who is Forrest J. Ackerman ?

So many publications in the early days by people who just loved the hobby.  Many of them were "LIKE" detectives themselves because they

dug into the back story of who did what and when, and then published some kind of booklet or fanzine about it.

I don't know if having a wiki page means "you have succeeded" but it's cool to check and find one for somebody.

I read some LOA before and frankly, it was pretty cool.  I mean, the story was gripping and the bad guys didn't

take any "crapola" off people.  If you gave them trouble you got a couple of lead slugs in the belly.

And the cops had no qualms about blasting the bad guys either.

I would, but I'm out of stamps :ohnoez:

I'll mail you one.....

I remember buying mail order.

Send a self, addressed, stamped, envelope and perhaps 25 cents to the seller.  Wait for his list.  Pick what you want and pick several alternates in case it's already sold, send your picks plus a check or money order and then wait.  And wait and wait.  Eventually a package would arrive and you'd have no idea what was in there.  Took patience but the amount of effort required to buy mail order made getting a package and adding to your collection very special.  Sometimes I think the easier something is to do the less worthwhile it is to do.
