My understanding is that he is on vacation in Thailand.  I wouldn't worry about it at all.  Mike will come through.

I understand how you feel. Just know myself and others have dealt with Mike. He’s top notch. The packaging will arrive bullet proof. Please show us what you got once it arrives and you’ve had time to enjoy it. 

Ok we’ve all done extensive PR for Mike. Time for Mike to contribute something to the board, like his take on the OA market from his POV. Start a thread Romitman

I recently made a trade with Mike. He shipped his part of the trade before I'd packaged mine. I've also bought from him, one time and with timed payments. It took months from my end, but the art shipped promptly when the last was made. I trust him.

I too have bought from Mike.  Very stand up guy.  He even let me use him as a reference for another purchase I wanted to make using time payments.  You'll get your art, no problems.

Hello....

sorry my late message .....I actually planned my first ever vacation overseas and needless to say ....I got swept up into the big Hong Kong protests going on last week....and didn’t get to emails for a few days after flying out to Asia on August 7th.....and I’m now in Thailand.

My brother ships my art for me and takes care of things for me while I’m on vacation and I needed to get hold of him first to respond to Steve’s one email he sent me asking for tracking on the 10th.... but I couldn’t answer him for a few days until I heard from my brother that the art has shipped, so I’m sorry for any inconvenience to Steve  as he is very anxious to get his art which I do understand and I hope we get to do deal #2 in the near future.

ever since I got into this great hobby I’ve always considered it a mini Christmas present to myself when I get a new piece of art in for my collection......so I most certainly try to ship as fast as possible to everyone, regardless if it’s a 100 dollar page or a 100k page, as we all like to physically feel our hands on our art!

It does upset me at times however when people think and even post at times that because they didn’t buy a high end piece of art from me that for some reason I would not give them first class service, as that is never ever the case with me, as all of us started small.....even us higher end collectors.

I've always believed that the 100 dollar buyer today very well may be a BIG DOLLAR BUYER TOMORROW.....so I always treat a lower end buyer with the same respect as I do a high end buyer.

Customer service is extremely important to me...... if I screw up I should be told about it so I can do better next time......

And ALL art sellers.....( collectors too) should be held to that same standard.

I love this hobby and I want to buy, sell, and trade art with as many people as possible in our great hobby!!

I will second that Mike treats every size deal the same. He gets back within a day no matter what the questions or trade. I have been buying $100 -$200 scraps from him but I know when I am ready to buy my first Kirby it will be through Mike.

Late to comment as well but just wanted to say my first OA was purchased through romitaman and the experience was top notch
