House of & Powers of X

Read Powers 3 today. Some of this I will have to go back and read again to absorb it all.

The Nimrod stuff was a little much, but I am sure its needed later. The only thing that bothers me
just a little is how they changed Xavier for this story. He is much more hands on which I am not used to.

But that's just minor quibbles I am just happy to have an X-Men story that I look forward too.

I haven't  enjoyed an X story since Old Man Logan.(BTW by chance if you haven't read that yet do yourself
a favor and by the trade.) There is a twist in that story that will make you drop the comic.

When I made my new comic day run today the regular cover seemed to more plentiful than in the last couple of weeks.  The connecting cover was a rumor by lunch time.  One store even had some books from last week, including a few variants, probably from pull lists that weren't picked up, but this store specializes in indie books.

My shop had a decent stack of them, but I expect they will be sold out by the end of the day.

I've been keeping up with the story (which is an achievement for me). Recent issues have not been quite as mind-blowing as the first few, but it's still really good.

The connecting covers are cool, I've been liking the Huddleston variants the best.

Finally got to finish it last night.
Hickman has wrote a classic here.
I will have to go back and re-read it all to take it all in.

This is right up there with Old Man Logan for different reasons.
Its given a path for the X-Men to follow for quite a while if they so choose.
Why didn't someone do something with Krakoa until this point?
