Strange Tales, Vol 3 No 1, January 1933

VG/F, with a 1 inch spine split at the bottom

Seventh and last issue of the short-lived (7 issues) competitor to Weird Tales.  All issues of this impressive Clayton title are scarce.  This one has the amazing cover vampire story Murgunstrumm by Hugh B. Cave.  There's also a Robert E. Howard story in this one, The Cairn on the Headland!

$600

Weird Tales, Vol 5 No 3, March 1925

This copy was formerly bound, so the spine has been reinforced and the edges trimmed.  There's a small tear on the right edge sealed with tape.  However, being bound in a book really preserved the cover, and the cover colors are exceptionally bright, making this a really attractive copy.

The November 1924 through February 1925 issues of Weird Tales are considered rare, and this March 1925 issue which came right after is almost as hard to find.  Contains stories by Weird Tales mainstays Greye La Spina, Seabury Quinn, Henry S. Whitehead, and Arthur J. Burks.

Weird Tales, Vol 6 No 5, November 1925

This copy was formerly bound, so the spine has been reinforced and the edges trimmed, and the back cover has been replaced with cardstock.  However, being bound in a book really preserved the cover, and the cover colors are exceptionally bright, making this a really attractive copy.

This issue contains the first publication of the famous and often anthologized story "Lukundoo" by Edward Lucas White.  Also contains story by well-known Weird Tales contributors Arthur J. Burks and Greye La Spina.
