Who is ready to get this show started? 

First up is a real rare one with only 7 copies on the census! One of my favorite precode horror titles. Some staple pull at the top, but cover and centerfold are both securely attached.

12 month GPA is close to $900 in 4.5 with a last sale of $1435   A 6.0 also went on Clink for $1901 recently. I listed a VG- copy for $500 on the boards last month that sold instantly. I had a feeling it may have been underpriced, but my loss was takebot's gain. I'm probably underpricing this copy as well, especially because it looks just as nice (if not nicer) than the CGC 4.5 copy that sold, but maybe I will learn my lesson if I can ever find a third copy of this diamond in the rough.

Next up is a fantastic Matt Baker cover and an under-appreciated issue from a hot run. Ghoulish coal miners are making a comeback I tell ya! Only 10 of these bad boys exist on the census. Some staple pull at the top (cover/CF still attached) and small stain on the back cover keep this beauty from grading higher. A 7.5 copy went on Clink for just a hair over $1k recently!

Anyone interested in some Fawcett goodness? How about this fantastic Bernard Bailey demon cover! Love the look of sheer terror on good ol' checker pants. Only 10 universal issues exist on the census and a CGC 7.0 copy sold for $1300 just last year. Note the partial date stamp on back cover.

Okay one more for the road...but promise more to come later! Last up for right now is a big one from a smoking hot title. Only 10 universal copies exist on the census right now, with the highest graded copy being an 8.5. This issue is in stunning high grade, and would be graded NM if not for the pesky stain on the bottom back cover (see spoilers). With that said, I still think this issue can give a run for the highest graded copy if submitted. I'm being a bit conservative grading-wise on this one...

Last one for now is a beauty of an L.B. Cole cover. I heard through the grapevine that precode war books are the next precode horror books...well if they are, this book should be one of the most sought after in my opinion. The reds really pop on this issue in hand, and with only 12 issues currently on the census, there might not be enough copies to go around once the general public catches on!

Okay I lied. Here is one more: a classic Ross Andru cover with some great Toth and Nick Cardy interior art. Only 11 copies of this book exist on the census so you know it's rare, especially in mid/high grade. Last CGC 4.5 copy sold for $850 and mycomicshop is asking for $1k+ for their copy making this a screaming deal! This book was manufactured without a top staple, but everything is still securely attached to the bottom one.

About to hit the road, but before I do, here's a fun cover of one of my favorite issues in the series. This book has been getting so hot these snowmen might just melt! Book looks like a 6.0+ copy in hand, but is graded lower due to a detached centerfold (comic was only manufactured with one staple). As such, an amazing deal on a really nice presenting copy!

Next up is a classic witch cover. Currently 20 copies on the census with a 6.0 recently selling for just north of $1700 on Clink  This one looks great in hand! Has a 1.75 inch spine split in the middle and a little rust on the top staple, but otherwise a great mid-grade copy!
