The weird issue with this book are the dirty hands of some decades-old reader. The first two pictures show the book as it presents and the second two highlight the hand smudges or fingerprints on the front and back covers. Thanks in advance for your opinion!

Nice book. The smudges definitely hurt. Also, in the 3rd picture, it looks like a fairly large crease on the front cover that could be pressed out. Maybe a 6.0 right now.

There's no crease. I assume you mean the front cover smudge? Or where are you looking?

That's a stain across Goliath?  I thought it was a crease shadow as well because it disappears at a different angle of viewing.  If it's a stain like a light water or clear oil stain, then it will get hammered for one that size and for the back cover smaller stains.  Assuming that's the case then CGC 5.0
