i would much rather have the CGC 6.5 with the nice wrap than the CGC 9.4 miswrap, and keep the difference in change...

Those over-wraps are a particular issue just with me personally. I may prefer a slight white border on the spine or holdout for another one. I'd prefer the whole white section where the price is to show.

This is a similar one that I submitted raw to CGC. I'm not going to find an MT 44 in a 9.6 everyday or too many graded at all so I'm cool with a slight overwrap. Not as severe as some of the others like the "0" cent copies

Agree with that. This is not mine but the date stamp here is perfect! I hope it didn't adversely effect the grade? It was an Ebay auction I was tempted by for the stamp but was looking for a WP

Here's my copy. Definitely picky about the "S" being fully there in the lower-left as well as nice alignment between the edge and the banner along the top, so was glad to see others here had the same criteria. I passed on a lot of 9.4's waiting for the right copy and eventually settled on this very satisfying 8.5.....

Then I shouldn't point out that the first scan in this topic has the red elbow on the right edge, it even has the "pointy elbow" visible in black ink past the red.

It's funny, when the newer CGC labels came out, I thought it was so tacky having the grade all huge and stuff. Now my old eyes really appreciate it.
