Just remembered something from when I was a kid 0

Circa 1986-1987 I lived in a community of duplex homes in Chino Hills, Ca. Just up the street from Glenmead Elementary School, I used to walk home in first and second grade. Anyway, at one point a neighbor I wasn’t familiar with had moved out of his duplex and left a bunch of stuff in the garage. Me and the neighborhood kids were going through his stuff and among the abandoned things was a TON of artwork. Good artwork. And it was pornographic comic pages. Original art. Underground style. I figure it was done by him because who would abandon an art collection they bought and paid for? But it was quality work. Being in first or second grade I didn’t dare bring any home but I wonder if he ever published anything or made it in comics? Or might be a boardie or something maybe

That is a question i feel you will never have an answer for in this lifetime, You should have stuffed some of it under your shirt for future use oh the mistakes we make

Best bet is to ask the oldest comic shop owner in the area, or someone who's been doing local cons forever.... They might know local tallent.

I remember as a kid hitting the dumpster behind a liquor store the day after new comics came out. We usually found all the “stripped” cover returns in multiples. And if we were real lucky, we found Playboys and Penthouse. Since they were multiples, we had plenty of trade bait for comics from the other kids in the neighborhood. Believe me, we could get some good full cover Spider-Man’s and others for them. Worked out great until one of the kids got caught with one and ratted us out to my mom...
