Wasn’t there a 15 for sale on the boards very recently?

Yep, that would be my upgrade. It’s the 2.5 I posted to kick off the thread. (thumbsu

Selling your undercopy?

And sure, got this from our very own local legend Rick. Hopefully he doesn’t mind me using his pic, it’s already on my phone so it’s convenient...

Now I’m wondering if this copy came from the same collection as @aardvark88‘s 15!

And my 15 undercopy has already sold, sorry!

Despite a long term focus on Planets, I’ve never owned a 14 or 15 mainly because of PQ issues... still on the hunt decades later.

15 especially seems to be extra tough when it comes to PQ.

If this were a single digit Planet club, you would be owning it!

It might be interesting to look back at this as the numbers change over the years.  As of the creation of this thread, these are the census numbers. Lower counts than all other issues of Planet Comics.

Thanks for posting those stats, Jared!

I wonder if the lower numbers are really due to "limited distribution" issues for both 14 and 15, or if it's just the vagaries of chance, or, maybe the kids just weren't that into these covers?

Looks like the next lowest in the census (Universal copies) is issue #24, which would go along with Gerber's scarcity rating of "7" (though he blew it on issue #14, with a rating of "4")

Scan manipulation, they’re as bad as Beerbong. :boo:

I like your scan better.

Here's my entry to the club.

BTW, now that I'm in the club, when do I get my free hat pin with Buzz Crandall's mug on it? And my free Gale Allen button? If necessary, I'll clip off the coupons on my 14 and 15 to cover postage. :insane:

The hats and buttons and all that are surely coming. I’m glad you’re in this game for the right reasons :roflmao:

Beautiful copies Jay! I’d seen them both before but that in no one way detracts from their beauty. Only 2 better copies of 15, are you kidding me?!! :whatthe:

Thanks! Can’t beat a Church copy of one of the most desirable books out there.

The book on the right looks smaller to my eye, or is it just an optical illusion?

I am amazed that this copy of this book actually exists. Wow! Those colors are truly beyond compare. Thanks for sharing Matt!
