First appearances was the natural end...

I originally started with baseball cards and rookies were always more desirable than the 7th year card.

That led to how I started collecting comics.  First Daredevil red costume was always more desirable than the first time frank Miller was on the book.

With comics it is about the characters... the characters will be up there with their creators but will always supersede later artists that work on them.

To whom?  I’ve always found DD 158 much more desirable than DD 7.(shrug)

I should have written to me... but at the end of the day, I predict as time moves on it will continue to become even more character driven rather than artist driven. (Again to clarify there is a difference between artist driven and creator driven.)

I kid lol Who knows what'll happen.I mean, look at the run on some GA artists lately.Baker and Cole were always popular, but things have started to get crazy price wise on some books.Don't think it'll happen with any bronze or copper artists like it used to be though

It’s a market that’s already desperate and insane enough that if it was alive it would’ve been placed on depot antipsychotic medication years ago.

Scraping the barrel even more aggressively would be profoundly sad.
