Took me a while to dig through some stuff, but I will offer this 4-comic set for prize redemption: something old, something new, something collected, and something blue. U.S. shipping only.  In full disclosure, the Princess is missing a page (what ever that grades out to; I'm not exactly a grading contest champion) and the Nick Fury trade has a stain on the edge of a couple pages (doesn't affect the readability).

Probably not the appropriate place to put this but I didnt know where else to post it to and I feel it is important to say. Im not usually the sentimental type but I just wanted to take the time to truly thank @thirdgreenham and @sckao for help putting this event together.

My wife and I collect together and it is something we have bonded over the years with, and my children are starting to follow suite. Unfortunately I am currently deployed to Somalia, and wont be home for many more months. I am not ashamed to say that being away from my books, not visiting my LCS and unable to read the stories that I come to love is harder than you might think.  Even harder due to the fact that this is something I normally spend a great deal of time with my family doing.

The last couple of weeks have been somewhat easier, mostly due to the excitement of participating in this competition and being apart of a community of like minded people. It gave me something to look forward to every morning and reminded me of home. And while the prizes are awesome (some are truly great), and placing well in the competition is always enjoyable, it was the overall experience that was truly the reward. So I sincerely want to thank the organizers and participants for putting this together, it means more than I think you know.

Sorry for taking so long to post here.  Life gets too hectic at times.

They say this is the prize thread for the winners, however, the real winners are the exceptional people who took the time to organize this annual event.

My thanks first to them @thirdgreenham @sckao

I also want to thank each of those who have donated prizes.  Although I believe the fun of the contest is just in playing, I can see the extra benefit to "winning" something material as well.

With that said, I would like to humbly offer up the following prize.  It is nothing special, just a reader lot for someone way down on the prize list, so at least they do not walk away empty handed....

 

Prize - Low grade reader lot of 10 cent Action Comics....((includes #239, 243, 246, 267, 273, 275, 280 & 281)

Hey everyone, please check the 2nd and 3rd posts in this thread for a list of all of the prizes.  Make sure you jot down which ones you like.  Try to get me a list of your top 10 or 20 (or all of them, if you really want), in order of your preference.  I'm going to use the list you PM me to choose your prize tomorrow, unless you happen to be there and want to pick live.

For me, doing the prize picking tomorrow will be a little hit or miss, so you'll have to please bear with me and I'll update as time permits.  Saturday should be fine to finish it off.

I updated my prize list on Page 11.   Made change to Prize A to choice of size of T-Shirt L, M, or S vs only L.   Also added one more prize.

Thanks to you both thirdgreenham and sckao for running this awesome contest for so many years.  Been a great ride.
