Can it be cleaned? Or advice, please

no experience with white out on books and if they come off but I am guessing with that much white out and if they scrape it off it will most likely damage the comic a bit and since its so much... :fear:

I'm pretty sure it can all be removed, ink and white out, all of it.  But the damage done makes it not worth it.

That is a "Well Loved" :cloud9: copy of a Classic Marvel Silver Age Key that would be a welcomed addition that any True collector would be happy to have in their collection.  :preach:

Use a tiny, tiny, tiny amount of nail polish remover on a cotton swab.  As gently as you can, rub it on the white out, maybe it will come off.:wishluck:

Or it might eat through the cover straight to page 5...:tonofbricks:

I'm afraid you're just going to have to live with it . . . how's the interior? On the upside, the cover appears to be well-attached.

Yes it can be removed but given what's visible on the rest of the cover you may ending up removing one defect only to discover another.
