Hi guys, so I found in a newsstand this “Special Collector’s Edition” of X-Men #1,

It has some minor defects that I noticed, as well as a kind of a fold or a kink at the left lower corner that I think (but have no clue since I never submitted) can be fixed with a quick press. On the left back cover (next to Psylocke) there’s seems to be a color defect.

maybe an 8, but I think a 7.5? I would put it in a mylar with a backing board and enjoy the Jim Lee art!

Agree, probably about an 8 with those scrapes on the back cover. A press won't help you much. 

If you really want to own an encapsulated copy, you can probably buy a 9.8 online for around $75.

8.5 IMO.

I would say its a 8.5 with the scrapes in the back and bends to the spine.
