Very nice book! Can't tell if there is a very minor tearing / rust at top staple? I could see it going as high as an 8.0.

No rust on the staple and no tear.

I'm thinking a 8.0.

I've never had a book pressed and I'm wondering if a press could move this to a 9

I would say 8.5 maybe a 9.0 but you have minor staple tears and some CB creases near the spine they are light and you have to really look as well as a few bends near middle spine and a line not sure if lighting from pic near top Front cover. and pencil on BC
