The whole thing is sad and maddening.  The people closest to him are the ones who took advantage of him and continue to do so.  Marvel is a business entity so I'm sure it wasn't always warm and fuzzy but from the outside looking in it seems to me like Marvel essentially made Stan's life goals complete.  The level of greed displayed by those close to him is absolutely astounding.

Ah yes, because the monthly words of wisdom in the comics, the tribute at the beginning of Captain Marvel, the full page spread shortly after his passing, and whatever else Marvel/Disney have done have been disrespectful.  /s

Did Stan Lee show respect to Jack Kirby or Steve Ditko?  I like Stan but I think he was a credit hog....  She needs to get over it if it's true.

In Stan's defense, he did acknowledge Jack Kirby at the D23 Legends induction in 2017.

I think Marvel is doing a pretty good job honoring his legacy.  Over the weekend I caught up with ASM and smiled to see a Stan's soapbox republished in the issues.

The films have had directors that have made the material tonally different, for example, compare Winter Soldier with Thor: Ragnarok or Guardians of the Galaxy.  Also, they've done well in modifying complex, meandering stories, such as the Thanos Saga, into a final product, Infinity War / Endgame, that's coherent despite complexity, more attractive to the general public, and basically to anyone lacking decades of comic book reading experience and familiarity.

I don't see this decade's progression, or evolution, as being particularly disrespectful at all.

Overall, though, she's delusional.
