Want to impress her.

If you want to impress the GF, I think she would rather..

Go out to a nice restaurant @$150

Buy her a piece of Jewelry @ $300

Go to a cheap motel @ $50

https://guardiancomics.ca/ that will give you an idea of what we will have.

If you can't find us at the show, I think that $500 would go better towards glasses, contacts or Lasik lol Right side of the room against the wall.

These guys are fantastic,I demand you spend money with them.

And Cherry Coke Zero has nothing to do with it.(Inside thing holly)

500$ right now?I recently found a seller with a tonne of decent shape Edition Heritage books for more than fair prices.I'd likely spend it there, quanity and quality.

But if I was in town?Defo with above  :sumo:

I wouldn't spend it.  Too little value for money at present.

It doesn't buy much.

If I were on your side of the ocean,it would be 500$ on Terrific,Spider-Man Weekly and stuff like that.ANYAlan Class Charlton or Atlas digest size I could find.

I frigging LOVE that stuff.

Already completed my Captain Britain-but no boomerang  and :frown: but :D

Number one with the mask has gotten VERY expensive compared to when I got mine eight or nine years ago. Eight too I think.

Right now...

What would you buy.

And would it be graded or raw?

For 500 I'd probably look for the best raw copy of a dark cover silver age Fantastic Four, Silver Surfer or ASM. If you wanna go bronze then maybe the best raw copy of X-Men 120 or maybe a 9.8 X-Men 121 if you're willing to go a bit higher. I'm posting a graded bronze later that maybe could work for a bit lower number if willing to speculate a little?

While I understand what you're saying, you just have to look in the right places and get a bit lucky.

Hollywood's head would explode if I listed what I got with my last $500 spent on comics.  To be fair, that encompasses multiple purchases that span a few years, so the ever-increasingly insane market was slightly less stupid for the earlier ones.
