Popular Post Joshua33
Welcome to the Priced to sell thread. Alfred's 1. Shipping is on me. Its fast and its secure. 2. No HOS or Probies 3. Accepted forms of payment are PayPal (preferred) and personal checks for stubborn old farts. 4. Return Policy: I accept returns if you notify me with in 48 hours of receipt of package that you intend to return. Books must be returned in the same condition I send them to you. 5. First in the thread wins. I love to negotiate by PM, but thread take trumps PM negotiations. 6. Time Payments: I mess with time pay, but you have to clear with me prior to taking. Normal policy is 20% down and balance due within 45 days for books of $1,000 value, or more. If it's really expensive, we can work on more lenient details, just hit me up. 7. Trades: see something you like, but you're short on money? If you're rich in comics, I might be your guy. I accept trade offers for books as well. Send me what you would like to trade via PM, and we'll discuss. 8. Lastly... I gotta do it... Alfred and I have noticed a trend lately. There are a ton of threads out there that are asking 1.5 to 2 to 3x GPA for comics. Whilst, we are polite and would never point out in their threads that the prices are ludicrous, in my thread I'll take the time to say it... I can understand pricing extremely rare books that are unavailable or have little to no sales data, by licking your thumb, sticking it in the air, and throwing something out there. But... on common books that sell for 1000 dollars in August of 2019 with your same grade and page quality, and you list them in September for 2500 dollars, it's an assault on board intellect. At the end of the day you can ask whatever you want, but if you're listing a ton of books and only selling 0 to 5% of them, you're way overpriced. You can show your books off in the Golden Age Have a Cigar Thread. This thread will defy the insanity in pricing craze tonight. Let's have some fun!!! CLEARANCE REDUCTIONS ON REMAINING BOOKS. DON'T LOOK BACK AT THIS THREAD IN A WEEK AND ASK YOURSELF "WHY DIDNT I BUY AT THOSE PRICES?" Popular Post Joshua33
SOLD TO @Roddulate Bought as a competitor's 5.0 blue label. Jailbroken to send for press and CGC. Found a stain on interior and bug chew on a couple pages. Chew does not affect story. Staining is heavy in middle pages, light in front and back. I've included pics to demonstrate. In my opinion, the book will garner a CGC 4.0. I will include previous label with sale. Front looks way higher. Presentation is great on this Johnny Craig Masterpiece. GPA 4.0 is 1900+ 5.0 is 2200+ Your price was only $1,600 ***NOW $1,450!!!*** You're welcome GPA at 1900, even after grading you're in an all time PCH grail 350 to 400 under average? Any less than that I keep it. Do yourself a favor. This will be the best looking 4.0 there is. Look at that color!!! Joshua33
Last book for tonight is an EXTREMELY RARE early Schomburg. I doubt you've been offered this book for sale in a while, if ever. Its beat up, but I'll be pricing well below GPA for grade, and the cover presentation is actually solid. Look for it in 5 minutes...

Popular Post Joshua33
Decided to keep. Thanks for the interest. Last book is a Daring Mystery Comics 2. This is Schomburg's 2nd cover ever, from (Feb 1940). Awesome Hooded Menace forcing a girl under a guillotine. Wow! Love the look of his early stuff. Too cool. Missing back cover, front cover and 1st 2 pages detached from staples. Tape on interior of front cover. All pages counted and accounted for. Last page has a small amount of paper loss, as seen in picture. Looks like a .5 CGC for this one. GPA is 1175 and 530. Average of $850. This book is extremely rare. Slab it, preserve it, and use it as one killer place holder for Was $750. NOW***$650*** I'd love to discount it more, but it's just too scarce, folks. Would look great in a slab. Last call... I get a Steve Rude vibe. I agree. I feel it's definitely a Top 5 EC cover. The layout is ridiculously cool. It has everything you want in a comic book cover. One of my all time favorites across all genres, and the first NEW LOOK EC to boot. Inexplicably still available at 25% below GPA. I have 2 copies now, so I was trying to hook it up for somebody who's been looking, but it's getting dangerously close to getting removed at that price. adampasz
