Reslabbing every 7 years 0

I was advised by an avid comic collector that I need to get my slabbed comics regraded every 7 years. Fact or fiction?

I guess if your friend is thinking that the grading standards change every seven years, maybe they have a point...

But if they're thinking it's because the microchamber paper needs to be changed every seven years, I've cracked out books that were in the same holder for twice that long, and they showed no signs of degradation. Of course, I would recommend following proper storage guidelines even for slabbed books...better safe than sorry...
