Comic Value

I recently went to a car boot sale and came across a comic fully encased in a cgc case. It has a full cgc grading of 9.6 with a blue ribbon and has the cgc logo.

The comic inside the case is Marvel Secret War, book 1 of 5 Commerative edition with gold text.

Ont the blue ribbonit has details of the comic and states Secret War #1, Marvel Comics 4/04. I am very new to comic collecting and have no idea what edition or how much it is worth.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I would say 50$ US

as there is a 9.8 for 89.99 US on ebay.

Also for future values you can look at ebay sold listings to get a idea of what books have sold for that are similar.

A lot of collections for graded books use. GPA, but it a paid subscription. but that is usually the go to for many in pricing books and selling and buying. So new people use the ebay stuff but it goes all over the place and takes more time to search through the many listings, etc.. some use gocollect as well.

Welcome to the hobby if your starting to collect books. take a look around the forums there is a ton of information and helpful guides, etc..

well there's a few on ebay for less than $35 BIN or Best Offer.

So that means they're NOT selling at $35, and probably not even at $30.

So yah, maybe in $20-$25 range.

but you should really look it up on ebay or GPA and do your own research to do your own evaluation.

c]Cool thanks; so its the UK's term for yard sale/swap meet or flea market kind of thing. Hopefully the OP didn't over pay for this book and grabbed it for a few bucks..
