The Curious Case of Marat Mychaels 0

Marat has been around since the early 90's. Pals around with the early Image guys but never broke out with them. Does work from time to time for a variety of publishers including Marvel. It's interesting to me how some just explode and others hover, because his art is on par with some of his contemporaries. Thoughts on his work? And to bring it around to OA I am thinking of approaching him for a commission, samples below.

Nice..he always seemed like a mix of Liefeld, Bagley, and Turner to me.

I think that was the issue... he seemed to mimic others style without his own distinctness. I always enjoyed his art but his figures always seem a bit stiff to me

Mychaels has improved greatly over the years, in my opinion.
