catrick339
As mentioned earlier in the thread, I found the other Ted White sword and sorcxery books, PLUS a second print copy of Phoenix prime, so I'm listing all three this evening. Phoenix Prime, Ted White Second print, 1969. And if you compare the scan to the first print, they managed to screw up the front cover by putting the logo over a great Frazetta painting. The durned fools, Flat and tight, nice gloss, white pages, but a bit of shelf wear and rubbing, touch of soiling BC Asking $

catrick339
Good morning! Here's something weird to start the day. Famous Feature Stars 1, 1938 Taller than a magazine, this one just baaaarely fits in a magazine bag and it's a fraction taller than a standard magazine board. Contains short text stories, five to seven pages, with two black and white illustrations per page. Kind of a hybrid comic book/Big Little Book. Cardboard cover, and there are several features not listed on the cover, including Tarzan, Buck Jones, and Tailspin Tommy, and one that isn't there at all, Smokey Stover only appears on the cover. Go figure. Sixty four pages plus the covers, flat and tight, with a split upper spine, small piece out upper edge FC, dogear upper RH FC, and some general wear. Only copy I've ever seen. Asking $125, pretty firm on this one.
catrick339
Walt Disney Tells The Story of Pinocchio, 1939 This is a hybrid, paperback size and format, done Big Little Book style, with a page of text, and a page of illustration or a half page of illustration and more text. It's actually a fumetti book, all the illustrations are actually stills from the movie, reproduced in black and white. I've talked to several Disney collectors, and there seems to be a general agreement that this is a scarce item, even among the Disney collectors. I HAVE seen one nicer copy, one of my Disney pals has a copy that looks newsstand fresh. Touch of rubbing upper RH FC, some ink chipping along spine FC,. bit of general wear and shelf wear. Still flat and tight, square, glossy, offwhite pages. Asking $

This is the ONLY paperback size and format item I've ever seen that has nothing, nothing at all, printed on the spine strip, We're talking a bare, blue strip with nuttin'.
