Girls' Love Stories #2 (DC; Oct-Nov 1949).  Grade = 0.5 PR to 1.0 FR (0.75 PR/FR) cr-ow.  Price = $10.
Cover present but detached and completely split.  Centerfold present but detached at both staples.  Cover paper is aged, toned, and brittle/fragile.  Interior pages are supple.

The next three books are all by illustrator and fashion designer extraordinaire, Gladys Parker.  In my opinion, Parker's Mopsy panels, strips, and stories are the very best the genre has to offer.  Very, very, very smart stuff.  Mopsy is a beautiful, witty, and liberated working girl whose attitude reminds one of the flapper girls of the Roaring 20's.  Lingerie panels and flirtatious dialog abound in each of the nineteen St. John issues (as well as the earlier newspaper strips).  Amazing stuff, coming right up ......

Mopsy #4 (St. John; Oct 1948).  Grade = 3.0 GD/VG ow.  Price = $85.
Art and dialog by Gladys Parker.  Piece out at top-left corner (plus ¾" tear thru first four interior leaves at same location).  The three centermost wraps have a straightened-out dog-ear at spine bottom.  All Mopsy Modes pages (the paper doll pages) are present and intact.  No CGC-certified copies.
