Well it certainly wasn't quick but I am getting out of the hospital for the first time this morning. It was hell living in this place since September 21st-- the day i suffered from an aortic dissection (look it up-- it is nasty).

Not even four full months in the hospital?

FAKER!

P.S.  Glad to hear you're free.(thumbsu

I no longer have a sternum and I still have to deal with three times a week dialysis for my kidney issues but it will be so nice being home again after such a long hospital stay.

Thanks again for all kind words.

Good news to learn of your progress.  You've really been through it, but have come out the other side.  Best wishes for your health going forward, dude.

Hey dude,

You are lucky to stay alive.  My grandfather, uncle and #2 cousin (38 years old) died of sudden heart attacks without warning not even saying good bye.  My dad, my uncles, some cousins and myself have checked routinely with doctors. All of us have coronary angiogram and we are still clear - it may do again if necessary. Two years ago, my uncle had clots removed from his carotid arteries in his neck (it would have a stroke).  It's heredity. We keep watching for rest of life.

Come back here, get well and stay strong.

By the way, since December 21st, I am injured with suspected piriformis syndrome that may pinch my sciatica nerve that weakens my right leg and caused numbness in my knee. Had MRI yesterday and will see my back specialist tomorrow morning after three weeks of waiting.  I hope it is not a permanent injury.
