Only took me 10 years. The most incredible Mcfarlane hulks.

Actually 9 years, six months and 3 days. But who's counting.  The only 9.8 ss set there is. And for bonus points, the 340, the 342 and the 343 (1 of 1) are undesignated "curator" copies, but for whatever reason copper books dont get the pedigree nod. Super excited to have finished this set :x

Seriously nice, but you already know that, huh?

Ahh...glad to know you're the one who beat me to the # 344 earlier this week.

I'm impressed. I'm trying to build this run as well. Only have 4 of the 7 shown.

And, as you well know, 343-344 are going to take a *long* time.

Hopefully not as long as it took me! I have a 344 blue 9.8 if you need it for the mcfarlane signing. Picked it up relatively cheap and just want what i put into it. Good luck!

I asked Todd himself, and he said he wasn't sure, but didn't rule it out.

;)

Also when heritage auctioned it they didnt mention mcfarlane.

Cuz it's the weirdo of the bunch. Not quite McFarlane, but not quite not. Eric did the pencils, but the layouts are pure Todd (and which CGC neglects to credit on the label) with the ultra-close face shots and profiles. I've always like the issue, but the fact that it's not "pure" McFarlane art always bothered me.

Ah........the classic McFarlane signature with the glossy silver ink.  (thumbsu

I remember getting him to sign one of my Spidey 300's at one of the local con's here before he made it big and starting charging money for his signatures.  I guess CGC will now consider these unverified signatures as a scrawled defacement defect and downgrade severely for them.  Especially since this runs counter to their verified signature service where they can pull in a ton of additional revenue even though the 2 signatures looks exactly the same.    :censored:
