Looking for: Archival tape instructions to attach cover 0

Looking for instructions or a video tutorial on attaching a cover to a book using archival tape. I want to make sure I do it right, and don't really know where to start. Any help would be awesome! Thanks!

There is a Youtube video on attaching archival tape to entire length of a spine. Or did you mean you just needed to reinforce (you may be able to use methyl cellulose mixed with water) the torn staple holes then reinsert the staples to attach cover to comic?
