So last weekend I took " the red headed terror " up to the Museum of Natural History in Chicago. She'd never been there and seen the huge T - Rex skeleton that caused a nation wide controversy when our government wanted to claim it for the money. Anyway, here's some pics of the huge sucker and a full sized replica of the largest flying reptile ever discovered. The Quetzalcoatlus.

Last two pic's are a  full size shot of her. About 40ft long and scary to stand next to. Really makes you think about what ran loose on our planet at one point.

Cool photos.   That looks like a great museum.  Love Dinosaur bones.  

 

Christmas time in Chicago is also one of the best.  Always enjoyed walking around the Magnificent mile.

We’ve been pretty lucky here in Central IA so far. I know it’s coming for us though
