So what would the Allentown 9.2 copy be worth now?

you mean 9.6 (general consensus)

There is already a CGC 9.2 graded

its at least a 9.4....maybe a 9.6 but maybe not

seeing how the 29 graded 9.6 it wouldn't be too far a stretch (shrug)

but yes, until the day it gets graded we'll never truly know

Much as I like seeing movies in theater, I won't be doing that again until probably next summer.

I did a movie recently at a theater with the reclining chairs.  My son and I watch Empire strikes back.  The theater was on the small side.  Total people in the theater was 6 counting us.  The tickets were like $9 each.  No idea how they could make money off our showing.

no

If that’s the case, that’s a great thing for Action Comics #1.

We saw history made today and if it was made without any momentum pushing Detective Comics #27 closer to Action Comics #1, then it’s safe to say that an Action Comics #1 of comparable grade, in this climate, would see an equal-to-greater leap forward.

That’s amazing. :cloud9:

I believe a 7.0 action 1 would sell for 2 million, but what do I know... (the owner of 1 of the 6.5's that I sold,  has recently turned down 1.5 mil offer)

I think if Tec 27 also included BW/Batman's origin story together with his 1st appearance, it might beat out Action 1 by a hair hm since they are practically neck and neck.

Cover: Action 1 > Tec 27

Story: Action 1 > Tec 27

Origin: Action 1 yes, Tec 27 no

Pages: Action 1 (7 Supes) > Tec 27 (3 Bats)

Rarity: Too close to call (slight edge to Tec 27 IMO)

Non-Supes/Bats content: Tec 27 > Action 1
