I have my doubts.  if he owned it and announced it to the press that is not enough for me to believe it actually sold. I’d want to hear from trusted boardies that they know the new owner.

I think the real question is the buyer a fellow dealer, collector, or  pure speculator/investor....

Thanks "tFISH1"

Say "Hi" to your brother Stephen!

if you've never seen his original comic art gallery, it's pretty incredible - https://www.comicartfans.com/gallerydetailsearch.asp?aty=1&gcat=5149

And no surprise he is NOT related to someone with a completely different last name.

Brave & Bold 34 OA cover! (worship)

If you told me it was in a "gallery" owned by a guy named "FISH", I would think of one guy!..........WRONG!

Thanks for the clarification!

And don't forget the Hulk 180 page with the first appearance of Wolverine (or the MJ page from Spidey #42, or the Ghost Rider splash from Marvel Spotlight #5, or the pages from X-Men #1, or the...well you get the idea)

Are superhero books the only ones capable of the million dollar club? Is there another book (say horror, western, etc) that if ever found in high enough grade could possibly hit that mark? Or is that extremely unlikely?

Something like a Suspense Comics #3 or something even rarer....
