Note: This is only an early digital print preview I had to confirm sizing (not final coloring), and I am having the final offset print done this week (as it was printed back in the GA, you'll get all the Ben-Day dots patterns exactly).

I have 2 to share 

Finally got a NM copy of Tec 395 for a nice price on Heritage

Then I acquired one of my biggest grails and my first piece of OA. A page from Deadpool #3 by Ed Mcguinness.

I kept it pretty low key compared to the last few years. 

Picked up some mid grade sci fi ECs and a couple of pages of art.  However, the Robin Williams cel was the most gratifying pickup of the year and I have not picked up any Timely hero books in awhile.  The runner up for this was a page from the Marvel Transformers series I got my hands on... but we said three.

Cool thread 

Here's my top three for the year.

First up, the 15 cent variant of Hot Rods and Racing Cars #56. Insanely scarce and my favourite Charlton 15cv to date. Lovely cover too:

 

Next is another Charlton, this time the pence variant of Secrets of Love and Marriage #25. Another enchanting cover and the first pence copy I've seen for the title which was on my missing list for such a long time. A real thrill when it turned up:

 

Finally, the pence variant of Wyatt Earp #29. I've been looking for a copy of this book for so long, to complete my L Miller indicia research. The story behind it's arrival was a fun one for me and easily the collecting highlight of my year:

 

So, not the most expensive books and certainly of minimal interest to most. But I love em

Amazing Spider-Man #15 because it was the first CGC I purchased

 

Vampirella Strikes #1 ComicsPro sketch cover because it was my first ever cgc submission

 

Teen Titans #12 because it was the first one I bought that was on a to buy list.

No earth shattering acquisitions for me, but these would probably be my top three.

1. Speed Comics #28

Giant green alien Nazi monster with a ray gun 

 

 

2. Daredevil Comics #17

Why, those mischievous little boys and their pranks...like hanging a Japanese soldier from a tree limb. 

 

 

3. Supersnipe #11

It's a 9.6 Church.  I'm always happy to add a Church to the collection.

.My three are nothing compared to some, but they have been very hard for me.

I was at my kids basketball practice just perusing the boards when I decided to ask DeadolOne if he had any sexy Warren Horror. He told me he does have an Eerie 17 that he's been holding onto. Sold I say! 

Just recently I had the opportunity to get this beauty from Srevenmmg. I have been looking for a decent copy forever.

Then just last week Chevalmeow had this beautiful copy of Eerie 25 and just got it today.

 

 

I've been filling Warren runs , and found these 3 to be tougher than tough.

Thanks everyone who has helped me all year on my quest.
