You have plenty too add. You do a genuine online business on can coherently comment on the market. I spout out opinions based on less than $500 a month in sales.

Although I suspect there's not much crossover from Comiclink/Heritage/Connect customers to ebay, a major auction houses that regularly conduct a monthly offering skipping a month; that might promote more buying customers for ebay! While there's no empirical data I can share to show this helps ebay sales, it certainly couldn't hurt.

I don't know about during Christmas but January is usually my best month for selling. I do back to back shows every weekend in Jan. I do REAL well. People are over the holidays and haven't been able to buy much so they are jonesing!

And Atom #1 is making a comeback. Now 2nd place instead of last place $$$ wise. Will be a huge upset if it passes X-Men #10, but it's making a gallant last day attempt for relevance.

I've had several attractive offers on books I was following on ebay and snagged some good deals. If you look at the G/S/B here to draw conclusions, there have been numerous listings reducing prices again and again. Myself, it's a better time to buy than sell. That said, I'm totally overspent on comics at Christmas time.

An asm #70 9.6 OW with decent eye appeal just auctioned for roughly what a 9.4 goes for .

I mean unless someone is in real need of some cash flow auctioning valuable items now is (to put it charitably) unwise

You nailed it . They say it's better to give than receive, so maybe I gave a couple of people a nice, under priced holiday gift. I should have been wearing my Santa cap when I put them up for auction.
