CGC's 9.8 or higher only?

........mcfarlanes run on ASM will always be worth something, although i can't see the issues going up much more unless todd starts actively drawing comics again...........its safe to say though that his run on 'spider-man' (1-16 i think) will never be worth more than cover price................ wink.gif

I believe they will be worth something in a LONG while. I am a huge fan of McFarlane (if you haven't noticed already), & will continue to buy more until I complete my McFarlane collection with pure High grade material even if it is not the most expensive books around. I've seen his Hulk #340 CGC 9.8 & Spidey #300 CGC 9.8 sell for wild prices & I believe that McFarlane fans will be around for a while. tongue.gif To top it off he seems like a great guy when you talk to him (not like some other "guys" of the industry.

Basically collect what you like. I personally don't base all my comic purchases on value, but more on my own personal likings

Well,

I figured ( not that I in way wish it ) after he was gone the comics would increase. I guess that's not really true. Just always seemed to think they would. What do you guys feel was Todd's best cover art? ( Any series )

I thought his work on the Spiderman series was better..more gritty..but on the valuation side I do think that ASM 298-320 will always hold some value..depending on what he does from here out..

I'd also like to question whether anyone thinks he would've lasted very long on ASM..personally I liked his run on it, but it would've created a totally different Spiderman then the one I was accustomed to..

Tottally different, of course...But for better or worse? That is the question. It doesn't really matter. This is just one of those "what if" kinda things we can only wonder about, and argue of course. ha. I am hoping that he will progress and start on more comics. Of course I can always hope. I thought his work on Spider-Man was really good. I liked it better than ASM. That's just my opinion though.

Whatever happened to the Venom series? I remember seeing that. It must not have done good.
