The sales prices are actually all over the map for different grades. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (Volume 1) #1 first print - the score is wayyy too high - yes it is the $$$ holy grail of the set but simply spending 10k dollars on a 9.0 shouldn't put you ahead of collectors that have spent ages building their sets this should be 10000 for a 9.8 5000 for a 9.6 3000 for a 9.4 and then downward from there (adjust 2nd and 3rd and 4th and 5th prints to align to the new standard) #3,4,5,6,7,18,32 2nd print(s) (and #2 3rd print) - these are rarer and more sought after than the first prints - scores should be significantly higher - in order of rarity and difficulty to obtain #32,#6,#4,#5,#18,#7,#3,#2 #11 and #14 - very hard to find issues - scores need a mild bump #13 impossible - this is the grail of the back issues - I honestly would put this score at 1k++ #16 second only to #13 in rarity and extremely hard to find ( only 2 9.8 exist) #17 and #28 very rare with #28 being rarer Raphael #1 this book is exploding right now - I would give it a bump rest of set looks good with the exception of Raphael 2nd print (needs a score bump as well!) Secret Wars #8 could not be increased. Our system works off an algorithm and I cannot change the score for the 10.0 without grossly overvaluing the 9.8 and lower scores. 1. Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 (1st appearance of the Sinister Six). All grades have been steadily increasing in price this year. CGC 9.0 Off-White to White Pages sold in ComicLink auction this week for $14,361 (current points in grade = 6000). CGC 7.5 Off-White to White Pages sold in ComicLink auction this week for $4,211 (current points in grade = 1500). 2. Marvel Superheroes Secret Wars #8 (Origin of Spider-Man’s Black costume which eventually becomes Venom) CGC 10 GEM MINT sold in ComicLink auction this week for $32,255 (current points in grade = 1500) This highest grade (1 of 4 copies exist) has also had sales in past 2 years as well (GPA), $9,000 in February 2018 and $14,000 in May 2019. Currently the slot and score requests are up to date (meaning within a week or two old) and the next set request to be created was posted on 9/18. I will be spending the majority of my time over the next few weeks assisting our operations teams as we have an incredible amount of volume across our collectible companies. Luckily, I am able to wear multiple hats so I can assist with our different collectible types and operations departments. I will have limited access to my computer (and email) for the next few weeks and this may cause a slight delay on the pending requests.
