CGC seems to love Marvel too much. 0

Hello everyone. I'm fairly new to the site, as of a few months ago. But, Is it just me, or does CGC seem to be a big fan of Marvel? Just strikes me as kind of strange...

"CGC" is a business incapable of original thought. The company employs many people. That's the dilemma with your question.

Can you give me/us an example of how/why you would think that CGC is a "big fan" of Marvel?

Well there's only two major comic companies, and CGC business is largely dependent on the success of the comics industry at large.

yeah I think the OP is talking about the specialty labels being Marvel and no DC, but I think they have/had a Walking dead label...

I don't think CGC as a preference for comic companies and specialty labels I think they are appealing to the requests and what collectors want and Marvel is Hot right now.. Maybe if DCU would stop dropping the ball we might finally get some Bat's artwork or Supe's Label.

Although they did have a DC label and Star wars label at onetime.

Different companies market in different ways.  I doubt CGC actively refused to do DC labels in the same way as they did with Marvel.  Its more likely that DC was made a similar offer and they weren't able to make a deal on terms for whatever reason.  Which is fine.

Maybe CGC only employs people that grew up in the 60's, are all MMMS members and still live by this...

and who could blame them???
