The load times on comicconnect are terrible.  It's about 10 seconds for any given page to load.  And when they do load they set to defaults that nobody in their right mind would want.  If you click on advanced search, then it autoscrolls away from the search menu and down to books.

i would think CC would have a presence here, more than @Micah S.

it would be worth their looking into speeding up the website, since several collectors like myself spend thousands each year with HA and CL but don't even bother with CC. but i guess they don't need me.

Not sure if you should actually be posting this on a public website since Canada Customs might be reading this, and I am also not sure if you are using the correct adjective in your post above.  lol

Between you and Greggy being on these boards, I'm amazed that any Canadian dares to ever say anything about taxes here.

They might as well make the following post:

CANADIAN REVENUE AGENCY, PLEASE COME AUDIT ME! :hi:

Well, not sure about you or Greggy, but absolutely no worries for me as I am more than a life-long collector and plan to take everything of value with me so that I'll have something to read when I go to that big comic book room in the sky.

The CRA can't tax me if I haven't sold off anything, but I do need to get a hold of them to check into writing off a huge taxable loss for all of those boxes full of B&W turd treasures like Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters, Samurai Penguin, Ultraverse titles like Ultraforce and Prime, Dark Horse titles like Barb Wire and Vortex, Marvel's UK Universe titles like Death's Head and BattleTide, etc. which I'll gladly donate to your comic book room as soon as you give me your shipping address in Hong Kong.  lol

Actually, now that HK is supposedly a part of China, I think it's really you who need to be careful with what you post here.  After all, now that Xi Jinping is done with Jack Ma and his Alibaba/Ant billions, they might just come after you and your cache of comic books next.  :baiting:

Just donate to a museum or gallery and use the cover price as a tax write-off. Didn't Bob Guicionne do that once with his porn collection? Everyone's a winner.

I'm not worried about you being taxed by the CRA, but you bringing down the wrath of the CRA on all these Canadian tax dodgers out there.

Still no worries as Canada Customs is a completely different government agency from the CRA and I believe Canada Customs is much easier whe it comes to these things. hm

Especially since they simply don't have time to open up every single one of the millions of parcels going through the postal system every day and tend to work more on the honor system.  They are really looking more for illegal items such as illegal drugs and the likes.  (thumbsu

So, are you really saying that there's a museum or art gallery that's willing to take and display our copies of Adolescent Radioactive Black Belt Hamsters,  and the like?  lol
