Great looking front cover (except for a couple of stains at the bottom that are covered by the art), but probably a 6.5-7.0 because of the back cover. Those are some NASTY looking stains. frown.gif

hey, you stealing my lines???

the front cover is VERY lovely and this is a book that a mid grade collector might die for. a 9.0 or so FC and real bad BC that drops the grade probably down to the 6.0 - 6.5 depending on just what is foxing, staining, tanning............slap it it a mylar with fullback and it would look quite nice............at an even better price thumbsup2.gif

Ya thats one of those "What a Beauti..... er, uh almost beautiful book. I agree with the assessment of 9.0 in the FC. Looks like Foxing for sure and a faint oxidation shadow or dust shadow at the right edge of the BC. If those are stains mixed in with foxing 6.0, if not then it could go 7.0. Interesting book, but personally, I'd rather have a 7.0 with more handling wear that the foxing staining defects that this book demonstrates.

And yes it is super notoriously tough in HG as Scott can definitely attest. crazy.gif
