He didn't draw my favorite Spider-man, but I greatly appreciated his talents especially his women. When I got a chance to get a Romita MJ in my JR AE book, I jumped at it and was thrilled when it came true.

No one in their right mind would claim that Romita wasn't talented. That's crazy talk. 

I will always love Ditko's Spidey, but to my mind, Romita's Spider-Man IS Spider-Man. That's what I see in my head when I think of the character. It's the definitive take.
