Are your Cases archival? 0

Hello CGC,

After having a conversation with a fellow Board member @Randall Dowling he says the cases are not archival safe as we don't even know the type of plastic used. I know you advertise on the site its archival safe. Can you at least let us know of the type of plastic it is if its melinex or mylar types of blends I know the exact formula or mixture might be proprietary info but at least an acknowledgement to one of the archival safe plastics that is being used might alleviate this kind of worry or discussion. As previously it was noted that the cases should be re-holdered after a few years so this might have brought in speculation that the cases are not archival quality.

The CGC cases are archival safe. The inner well material is PETG.

Hi Jonny,

Of course, that makes sense that the 2 pieces of film touching the comic are polyester film.  What is the outer well made from?  It looks like a PVC product.
