What is silverfish damage and how bad does it affect the grade? 1 1

There was as a good looking comic I was looking at and the description said a term I was unfamiliar with:

"Very small amount of silverfish damage to the top right edge of the cover"

So, what is silverfish damage and is it like staining and waterdamage where it just can't be accepted at grades beyond 7.0 (nomatter how minute it is)

Probably the same thing as “bug chew” where there’s visible damage from pesky critters having eaten away at the paper

I've actually seen books where they basically burrowed their way into the paper and stayed for awhile...
