GI Combat #114 1965 DC Publications

War "key" with the Battle origin on the Haunted Tank. Great Russ Heath cover.

Has a few long top to bottom ripple like bends that could probably be pressed out as no color is broken. Small crease in center of cover as well. Back cover has a waterstain on right side. Staples are rusty. No pieces missing or tears. Supple interior pages.

Was $35.   Now $25.

Pulps are getting hot folks. New guide coming out, lots of the big guys are salting away everything and the big auction houses are gearing up. One of the last areas of super rare and cheap collectibles. The covers are amazing and full of great writers. I sold a full long box of all titles and genres at Terry's show a couple weeks ago. Wish I brought more. Got another couple boxes I've had put away and will throw a few in this thread.

G-8 and His Battle Aces July 1940

Great cover and cool stories in this title. WWI airplanes with just wild covers and this is one of them. Check it out!

A tight, clean copy with full paper spine. Usual tiny overhand cover tears. Back cover is a little dirty. Spine very slightly rolled. Interior pages are yellowed but supple with no brittleness. Real decent copy.

Was $50. (what would this go for if it were a comic book?)

Now $45.

Paperbacks are also VERY cheap. Same as pulps, great covers and writers. Hey, we slab and buy covers. What would these covers go for on comics?

4-Most V6#3 1947 Novelty Press

Cool "grey tone" tennis cover!

A real, nice, bright, flat, clean, complete copy. Nice smooth spine with covers bound tightly to book and centerfold. No tears, splits or creases. Biggest fault is two tiny pieces of un-needed tape at top and bottom of spine on back cover. Nice interior pages with no damage. Very pretty copy. I actually don't mind keeping this one...

Was $40.   Now $30.

Showcase #28 1960 DC Pubs

2nd appearance of the Sea Devils. Incredible Russ Heath "grey tone" cover. My favorite of the 3. All Heath art inside. Every bit as good or maybe dare I say it, than a lot of his war work...

Cover is neatly split down to the top staple and also split about 2" from bottom. Cover still attached. Just a hint of corner and edge wear. Very readable and looks great in mylar.

Was $45.   Now $40.

Mysterious Adventures #22 1954 Story Pubs

Great Hy Fleishman skeleton cover! Full of wild stories to give you nightmares...

Spine is a mess on this one. I just paid up well to upgrade it. Book is detached from covers. Staples are rusty. Small wrinkles, edge tears and general wear. Cover is complete with nothing missing that detracts from this great image. Grab a cheap hole filler.

Was $60.   Now 55.
