SUPERMAN #13 in 1.8 q. Early Siegel/Shuster-studio Supes with a great Fred Ray war cover that presents so, so nicely... flat, bright cover with rich inks and super eye appeal. Qualified because the centerfold is married and an interior page has a cutout. Presents like a strong midgrade copy, and from GPA data points IMO it would be a $1000-1500 book if it didn't have the interior flaws. Offwhite pages.

AIR ACE V2 #1 in CGC 3.0. Very cool 1944 concentration camp escape cover with lots of war-themed stories inside (Nazis invade Arizona!). Nice for the grade with strong colors. Tough book!

BLACK CAT MYSTERY #47 in CGC 4.0. Very cool Lee Elias sci-fi/horror cover. Deep inks on a black cover. Last GPA sale was a CGC 4.5 for $349.

WAR COMICS #24 in CGC 4.5. Heath anti-communist cover with lovely colors. Almost everyone in the grading contest guessed it would be a 5.0 or higher... I did too! Great eye appeal.

STARTLING COMICS #53 Canadian in 1.5/1.8. Fantastic "Xela" Schomburg airbrush cover. IMO #53 is the toughest by far of the Schomburg Startlings. Spine is about 3/4ths split; cover wrap is still attached at the bottom staple. Solid eye appeal, offwhite pages.
