Funny you said that. I was looking for the first Bronze Age Appearance of Ka-Zar and that’s what came up.

Marvel Comics #1 published in 1939 was the first comic book appearance of Kazar named David Rand, who previously appeared in pulps.  But X-Men #10 introduced a Ka-Zar with a different name and story origin.
