Hi everyone,

I have two raw key books up for sale:

  • Avengers #6 - Formerly CGC VF+ 8.5 - $675 $565
  • Tales of Suspense #53 - Fine 6.0 - $100 SOLD

Those of you who've sold raw books to me in the past know I ask a bunch of questions when I'm interested in a book, and I can say that neither of these books have:

  • Loose or detached staples
  • Rusty staples
  • A loose or detached centerfold
  • Spine splitting
  • Soiling, water damage, stains or fingerprints
  • Tears
  • Chipping or dents
  • Major creases
  • Any printing defects (printers creases, smudges, etc.)
  • Any interior defects unless noted (tears, missing page corner chips, etc.) - Please see the Avengers #6 description

I charge exact shipping to ship these books insured via USPS Priority Mail, and the shipping cost will depend on your location (I'm willing to ship anywhere in the world, but I know USPS Priority Mail shipping costs are high outside of the U.S.).

I accept PayPal, checks or money orders.

The first :takeit:gets the book, but I will also listen to offers via PM.

I accept returns or will make things right should you not be happy with a book for any reason, and please No probies and HOSers.

Thanks for looking!

First up is Avengers #6 - Formerly CGC VF+ 8.5 (label will be included with the book), Off-White to White pages - $675 $565

First appearance of Baron Zemo, who will be the villain in the "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" series on Disney+!

I don't think this book has been pressed (there are two minor non-color-breaking items that I think would not be there if the book was pressed), but I bought it already slabbed and cracked it out.

Graders notes:

  • light finger bends center of front cover
  • light wear left center of front cover breaks color
  • moderate spine stress lines breaks color

Item not called out in the graders notes - small tear in the margin of one page (please see the photo in the spoiler).

Next up is Tales of Suspense #53 - Fine 6.0, Off-White to White pages - $100 SOLD

Second appearance of Black Widow and origin of the Watcher.

I can say with certainty that this book has not been pressed because it has some non-color-breaking wear.

Someone asked a question about the spine on the Avengers #6, and upon much closer inspection there is one tiny spot of spine wear that has worn through the cover (it's hard to tell if this is from production or part of the "moderate spine stress" called out by CGC).

Here are a few photos of this spot of wear:

It's very subtle, and at first glance looks like it could be foxing...
