IF A COMIC BOOK HAS HAD 2 EXTRA STAPLES PUT INTO IT FOR NO REASON AND YOU REMOVE THEM IS IT CONSIDERED RESTORATION ?

In my experience, removal of 2 extra staples isn't considered restoration. But it could affect the grade...

But the grade was already affected by the 2 extra staples being there anyways, no? From what I saw, once a book has extra staples the damage (grade drop wise) is done it's just up to the owner to choose whether they like them there or not. (obviously assuming that the owner doesn't tear the book apart while removing the staples)
