I am looking for overall grading input, specific flaws you notice, and your thoughts about pressing. There is some scuffing along the spine on the back. Any insights would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Probably a 7.0 due to the corners and spine ticks. I would not have it pressed, as the cost of the pressing is likely more than the value of the book. The press will also do very little for the specific damage that book has anyway.

@Jim12x12

If this is a personal/sentimental book for you and you just want it protected, get it graded and skip the pressing.  The pressing would cost more than any value it might add, and it'll take much longer.

If you're looking to add value by pressing/grading, it's a losing proposition on this book.  You'd make more selling it raw and it'd be MUCH faster.

Personally, I'd say spend $35 on Amazon to get 50 Mylite2's and Fullbacks and put this book in one of those.  I just got done putting all my Tales of the TMNT volume 2 books in them.  You might be surprised how nice your books can present in a nice mylar/fullback.  Plus it's MUCH cheaper than grading and offers pretty solid protection with good conservation properties.
